How k-tape can help support weak muscles

Dr Matt is joined by Cesar who explains how to apply k-tape
for maximum benefit

In this Best of Wellness Connection presentation, Dr Matt is joined by Physical Therapist Cesar Matteo to describe the benefits of kinesiology tape, kinesio tape, or k-tape for short. This athletic tape cousin is much more flexible than its earlier relative, supporting injured muscles while allowing for freedom of movement. Cesar demonstrates how to properly apply kinesio tape to the knee, while Dr Matt explains how the tape can help to alleviate nighttime pain and muscle cramping. Click here to watch!

If you suffer from nighttime leg cramping, call (239) 242-0070 to make an appointment with one of our experts today, or click here to request an appointment online.

Allied is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with a Toy Drive!

Allied Physical Therapy is celebrating 20 years of getting Southwest Floridians back to what they love!  To mark this milestone, Allied is collecting new, unwrapped toys appropriate for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years to benefit Child Care of Southwest Florida.  Toys may be dropped off weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm at our clinic located at 1469 SW 4th Terrace in Cape Coral, near the intersection of Pine Island Road and Chiquita Blvd. We are also accepting cash donations to purchase toys on your behalf. Thank you for helping Allied give back to our community!
