This two-day course provides a basic understanding of Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) and Craniofacial Pain (CFP). Participants will learn anatomy and biomechanics of the normal temporomandibular joint (TMJ), as well as abnormal mechanics or pathophysiological mechanics that will require a comprehensive evaluation and treatment approach.

Pelvic Floor Level 2B Satellite Lab Course

This intermediate-level continuing education course further defines skills and knowledge learned in the foundational Pelvic Floor Level One course. Specific, advanced examination techniques such as pelvic muscle mapping and interventions including down training of overactive muscles is instructed. With a specific focus on urogynecologic conditions including prolapse and pelvic organ descent, various pelvic pain diagnoses, and abdominal wall rehabilitation, the participant will be able to learn specific skills to treat these conditions that have a significant negative impact on a woman’s health.

Functional Strength: An Updated Approach to Exercising our Patients

November 12-13, 2022

Hosted by Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community at our new clinic located at  1469 SW 4th Terrace in Cape Coral FL, 33991.

This course will help you “connect the dots” with your manual therapy approach to treatment by linking patterns, force couples and muscle slings to retrain ideal movement. 

Come advance your understanding of therapeutic exercise as well as your ability to create basic to advanced functional exercise programs customized to your patients. You’ll also learn to assess functional weakness and differentiate this from weakness found in manual muscle testing. 

This course will progress from basic fundamentals to advanced, high-level athletic plyometric training. As with all our courses, this course will be at least 75% hands-on lab. However, participants will not be required to perform all the exercises demonstrated in the course.
