Laser treatment creates an optimal healing environment
Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community now offers FDA-approved therapeutic laser treatment to aid in the treatment of injuries and to speed recovery after surgery.
Laser therapy, which utilizes specific wavelengths of light to achieve maxmimum therapeutic benefit, is a safe, pain-free treatment option that only takes a few minutes per visit. There are virtually no side effects or risks that may occur with other forms of treatment, and laser therapy may help you to recover more quickly from injuries and surgery.
During each painless treatment, laser energy is directed at the problem area to increase circulation and oxygen saturation. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain.
Therapeutic laser therapy also offers an innovative and highly effective alternative pain management option to treat acute and chronic conditions.

What is the difference between Class III and Class IV lasers?
The stronger units (class IV) are more expensive and can actually soothe and treat the soft tissues up to 7 cm or deeper. Whereas weaker class III lasers only can penetrate 1/2 cm. It doesn’t mean they are not therapeutic, it just takes longer to push the energy into the skin to cause metabolic changes at the cellular level.
