Why do we choose to mask pain with medication?
Physical therapy addresses not only the pain that you have but the reason why you are experiencing the pain in the first place. For example, a good Physical Therapist will not only treat your back pain, they will also investigate to figure out way the back pain is there to being with.
Medication simply masks the pain for a short time and does not address the underlying cause of what’s causing the pain. In addition, medication is also expensive and can be addictive with long term use.
Instead of using medication to mask the pain, why not address the reason why you have pain to begin with physical therapy?
